Project Didi Australia is a not-for-profit Australian charity, striving for futures of hope, dignity, and independence for survivors of trafficking and abuse, particularly in Nepal.
We achieve this by:
Working with well established, reputable organisations in Nepal, specialists in trauma-informed care with over 10 years of experience supporting women and girls
Providing survivors of trafficking and violence with the support, funds and opportunities they need to lead self-determined lives.
Raising awareness and advocate for action to end gender-based violence & modern slavery with our community in Australia.

Family Based Care
We recognise that rebuilding the emotional well-being, confidence and independence of women and girls exposed to sex trafficking requires consistent, intensive support. We take a whole-of-person, individualised approach providing five girls, living in one of family based care homes, with the funding and resources they need to build meaningful futures.
We recognise that education transforms the futures of the women and girls. We fundraise to provide scholarships for further education and vocational training, as the girls that the organisation supports are likely to have missed critical schooling because of a childhood of trafficking, abuse or gender-based violence.
We focus on the type of deep impact that multiplies across generations, undertsanding that complex issues cannot be addressed in isolation. Our priority areas include:
